Originally from Lyon, Brusk has been prolific in graffiti where he quickly made his mark. More recently, his engagement in the DMV (Da Mental Vaporz) collective combined with his sheer determination has helped him to break into the world of galleries, leaving graffiti aside to focus on canvas. From his studio, he has forged a very personal visual language based on figurative paintings. On the dawn of his third exhibition, Brusk reveals how he tackled the challenge of renewing himself while remaining true to his style.

“Mouth, red color: this lithograph evokes the dripping sensuality, which stands stronger against the bullet, against the weapon. It’s this confrontation, as well as its balance, that puts really in highlight the power of that mouth.
Drips and tears: there is a balance between the horizontal side of the drips and the lightness of the tears. The tears, it’s because it will slowly disappear, while the drips are here to express that it will freeze.
All this sensuality is dripping on the ball and on the image, which increases its strength.” Brusk
